How Do I Join?

There are several ways.

  • Ask kindly and smile. If you ask via email, remember to end your mail with a smiley. You may also choose to send a smiling picture of yourself as attachment.
  • Send two bunning place reports, i.e. descriptions of two places that you think are suitable for Friday Bunning.
  • Support our efforts with a nominal donation of 2 euros / US dollars (we have not yet established the means for this, though, it will probably be something “paypalish”).
  • Buy the FBS t-shirt for the first Circle (the same “unestablished” issue, so no shirts available yet).
  • Any combination of these will also do.

Send your membership application emails to: applications@fridaybunsociety.org.

Once you have joined, you will have the moral obligation to seek and eat one Evil Bun (a.k.a over-priced Swedish muffin).

What Are the Circles For?

With the help of different Circles, some people can feel that they are better than others. It would, of course, be somewhat easier if there were feasible logical comparation operators for the Circles… They also provide us a comfortable way to collect more money for our own Friday Buns (assuming that it’s possible to pay for advancement).

What Should I Do to Advance a Circle?

Joining the Society is they way to start advancing. Check the heading a bit above. Other ways might be being a member for a certain period of time, or perhaps send reports of good bun producers from wherever you happen to be located. Highly scientific descriptions of different bun races are of course also welcome, as well as activity in the Bun-Anon Forum.
