The Secret Handshake of the Friday Bun Society is based on the very act of Bun Baking, and thus very easy to learn and to remember. With the Handshake, you can find out everywhere on Earth if there are other enlightened Members around you – just perform the Handshake and see if someone responds.

Instructions

Just put your left hand in front of your belly, your palm upward, forming a plane – imagine that it’s the surface of a table that you are soon going to use to bake a bun.

Then, set your right hand to look like a hemisphere. Imagine how your hand would look like if you were just about to lay it (gently) on a bun. Position your hand, palm downward, a bit above your left hand.

Complete the Secret Handshake with a circular motion, done by your right hand. Make small circles over your left palm, imagine now that you are actually baking a bun. Three circles clockwise is the recommended way, but it is also well accepted to perform another number of circles, the other way around – this is because the Excitement usually is so built up at this point that controlling the circles might be impossible.
