FBS to provide global added value

In our continuing quest to make the world a better place, we have now decided to start providing added value to our fellow bun-lovers. Actually we’re not even limited to bun-lovers only. We might occasionally slip in some added value to people of other affections, as well. As a testament to our infinite generosity we have even added some value to this post.

To all you worried states and governments out there: relax. We are well prepared to evade your VATs in ways too complicated for you to understand. Thus, you don’t even need to start feeling greedy and, and can safely forget the ideas about trying to catch some of the value we’re adding.

Yes, we won’t give a penny to any greedy government.

But as I understand it, VAT stands for Value Added Tax, not Added Value Tax. So VAT wouldn’t even apply to the added value value we are providing. As a pre-emptive countermeasure, we’re planning on actually imposing a global Added Value Tax (we can do that, because FBS rulez). We have not yet decided what that tax will be, but given our ruthless character, it will most likely be something quite … eh … hmm … ruthless.

You do have a point in your comment, fellow Founder. Actually, you have about 14 of them, plus a couple of funny points with a small tail attached.

But this had to be said out loud. Have you ever seen a tax collector, who would be confused and stopped from doing the duty because of such a minor detail? For it (I’m consciously choosing not to refer to this faceless machine as neither he nor she), value added is just as good as added value. We have to be prepared. Expect the unexpected. Know our enemy. Chop the hampsters.
