No last post for year 2006
Contrary to what we did last year (2005, that is), we will not write a last post for year 2006 at all. Some of our readers might have expected that and we are sorry about the disappointment. Let me assure you that this is not because year 2006 would not deserve a last post. Nor is it because we would not have anything significant to say. There is no special reason for the non-existence of the last post of 2006. These simply are the circumstances we now have to live with.
However, this is the first (and probably the last) post for December 2006.

Sad will be the times after the last laugh. Just imagine it – a world without laughs. I suggest we introduce a replacement to cheer us up. How about hiccups?
