The Last Post for the Year 2008

December 31st, 2008 by Tero P

Listen very carefully, I shall write this only once. But why should one bother writing a post like this? Because there has to be one. And there can be only one. One for all and all for one. Is this the one? Zathras knows. Maybe this is the one to rule them all. Or maybe this is just yet another unfun pun in the Blog’o'Bun.

Silence of the Buns

May 9th, 2008 by Tero P

Just a quick announcement: the lack of announcements is, by no means, due to particular inactivity or unacceptably notable laziness within the Founders and Members of the Society. This announcementlessness is a silent, even non-visible protest against anything that is currently inappropriate, thus well deserving a protest. Shoo, begone, such things!

Breaking news: buns do not migrate

November 25th, 2007 by Tero P

Looks like the rumours about muffin migration can now be put to rest. This recently published picture from a surveillance cam clearly shows that the empty nests are actually caused by human behaviour.

The case is closed until further evidence appears.

A Proof of Migration?

November 20th, 2007 by Tero P

During the investigations concerning the rumours about bun migration I ran into this:

A Nest of a Muffin
This is an empty nest of a muffin, and thus looks pretty much like the evidence that we need to confirm the rumours. But not quite yet. The investigation shall go on.

Bun migration?

November 18th, 2007 by Tero P

Lately, there have been rumours about people who claim to have seen buns migrate. Yes, you read that right: migrate. These people insist that they have seen muffins jump into the air, and head to south.

The Society will investigate these rumours. Follow the Bunlog for updates on the issue.

Hello from Yellowknife

October 10th, 2007 by Tero P

Hello from Yellowknife. Marita reporting from the Arctic Circle group, Oct 6/07.

I have no photos as I forgot to bring my camera. My tale is of frustration. I went downtown, uptown & even to a film festival, looking for breaded edibles, but found no “buns”. I ate an “apple-cheese danish” at one of my stops – the popular coffee chain Tim Horton’s (started decades ago by a professional hockey player – it was good, but it wasn’t even round. It was in the shape of a bird’s wing.

At the grocery store (Extra Foods) I found cookies, cinnamon fingers, muffins, pita, & all-kinds of intestine-challenging scones & bread products. I ended up buying a sugar-charged chocolate chip cookie. (Doesn’t count.)

At the Yellowknife film Festival (they were showing THE VENUS THEORY directed by Pasi Toiviainen, & other truly depressing climate change films) they had all kinds of candy, popcorn & even pre-packaged cupcakes. I ate nothing.

Bun Frenzy in London

October 1st, 2007 by Tero P

The remarkable corporate members of the Friday Bun Consp— Society kindly delighted us with a very visual proof of the existence of their Bun Days.

Bun Frenzy

It’s hard to imagine anything that could more clearly show the Concept that may or may not be found in the core of the Society. But I shall say no more of the Concept, for there are things that are best unspoken. Keep up the good work over there, fellow members! Enjoy your Buns, remember to have fun!

FBS to consume global added value

September 13th, 2007 by Tero P

In our continuing quest to make the world a better place, we have now decided to start consuming added value as well. But do not be alarmed: we won’t be there stealing the added value you need for daily survival, we’re only after the piles of added value that lie around in murky streets and moist backyards, hopelessly alone without a single consumer. Do you have such excess added value? Feel free to send it to us.

FBS to provide global added value

August 23rd, 2007 by erkki

In our continuing quest to make the world a better place, we have now decided to start providing added value to our fellow bun-lovers. Actually we’re not even limited to bun-lovers only. We might occasionally slip in some added value to people of other affections, as well. As a testament to our infinite generosity we have even added some value to this post.
